December 2, 2003 Jischke to discuss Purdue's strategic plan during WBAA talk showWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – An update on Purdue University's five-year strategic plan is the focal point of President Martin C. Jischke's live radio appearance on WBAA-AM920 at 2 p.m. Wednesday (12/3). During the station's "AM920 Magazine," Jischke will field questions from WBAA manager Dan Skinner and the listening audience. "President Jischke will begin by explaining how the strategic plan came about and will give a progress report on the first two years since the plan was instituted," Skinner says. "He will also discuss goals named in the strategic plan that the university is in the process of achieving, such as increased diversity." WBAA listeners will have the opportunity to call in questions during the one-hour show. Local listeners can call (765) 496-1999, and out-of-town listeners can call toll-free at (866) 922-2101. The station's AM signal reaches about two-thirds of Indiana and is heard globally via the Internet.
