November 12, 2003 School of Pharmacy honors distinguished alumni, friendsWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue School of Pharmacy honored six distinguished alumni and friends at a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 31, at the University Inn. Those receiving awards were: D. Craig Brater, dean and Walter J. Daly Professor, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, received the Friends of Pharmacy Award. He received a doctor of medicine degree in pharmacy from Duke University in 1971. Roger E. Gordon, president, Banner Pharmacaps Inc. High Point, N.C. He received a doctorate in industrial and physical pharmacy from Purdue in 1981. Robert E. Sauté, president, Sauté Consultants Inc., Bel Air, Calif. He received a doctorate in industrial and physical pharmacy from Purdue in 1953. Arda T. (Darnell) Sauté, vice president, Sauté Consultants Inc., Bel Air, Calif. She received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Purdue in 1955. Robert G. Sikora, vice president, clinical education consultant division, Pfizer Inc., New York City. He received a bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Purdue in 1972. James F. White, chief operating officer and vice president, research and development, Hypnion Inc., Worcester, Mass. He received a doctorate in pharmacology and toxicology from Purdue in 1979.
