November 6, 2003 Student groups sponsor free financial success seminarWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Enjoy free pizza while learning how to be smart with your money at a financial seminar presented by MBNA Corp. at 7 p.m. on Thursday (11/13) in Lilly Hall, Room G129. MBNA representatives will discuss the importance of establishing credit and how to manage it, common credit mistakes and how to avoid them, warning signs of credit problems and how to save money by avoiding higher credit costs. The MBNA representatives also will help attendees understand how to set financial goals, develop a budget to save money and provide tips on how to invest money by understanding how to use time to accumulate interest on investment earnings.
