June 27, 2003 Summer Concert Series to resume at PurdueWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Good music combines with good food this summer in a series of free Wednesday night concerts sponsored by the Purdue Memorial Union. The Clayton Miller Blues Band will open PMU's annual Summer Concert Music Series on July 9. A Cajun dinner will be available in conjunction with the concert. The four shows in the music series begin at 6:30 p.m. at Academy Park on the north side of the Purdue Memorial Union. A dinner buffet, with menu items reflecting the musical genre, will be offered at each show. Dinners cost $10 per adult and $6 per child under 10. Other artists and their performance dates include: July 16 Mariachi de Colores (Mexican dinner) July 23 Tony Zamora Jazz Ensemble (New Orleans-style dinner) July 30 Big Fun Reggae Band (Jamaican dinner) In the event of rain, concerts will be in the union's La Posada Room on the ground floor.
