June 10, 2003 Purdue Grand Prix Foundation honors board membersWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. The Purdue University Grand Prix Foundation recently honored 10 students for their service on the Purdue Grand Prix board. The students, who organized the 46th annual go-kart race, called the "greatest spectacle in college racing," include: Scott Ripberger, a senior agriculture business management major from Falmouth, Ind., who served as president. Josh Morgan, a senior agricultural systems management major from Milroy, Ind., who served as race co-chairman. Matthew Morris, a junior animal agribusiness major from Russiaville, Ind., who served as race co-chairman. Jeremy Mosbaugh, a sophomore agriculture business management major from Crawfordsville, Ind., who served as director of business. Andy Eick, a junior turfgrass science major from Medina, N.Y., who served as director of promotions. Jonathan Taylor, a senior landscape horticulture and design major from Lebanon, Ind., who served as director of facilities. Cynthia Grubbs, a senior advertising and photography major from Covington, Ind., who served as director of productions. Toby Hollinger, a sophomore food industry marketing and management major from Lynn, Ind., who served as director of special events. Luke Erickson, a senior small business management major from North Manchester, Ind., who served as director of sales. Diane Homkes, a junior management and computer information systems technology major from Russiaville, Ind., who served as director of scoring. The Purdue Grand Prix Foundation is a student-run, nonprofit organization that conducts the race and related events to raise money for student scholarships.
