WNBA's Fever to host a fun-filled night for Indiana 4-Hers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Indiana Fever will host 4-H Night with the Fever on June 28. Discount tickets, VIP use of Pepsi Square and an on-court basketball clinic will be offered to 4-H members at the event.

"This is a unique opportunity," said Chris Cook-Leitz, Purdue University Cooperative Extension specialist in the Department of 4-H and Youth Development. "Not many organizations get to partner with a franchise of this size, and the 4-H program is fortunate to work with the NBA and WNBA."

Kelly Krauskopf, chief operating officer for the Fever, said, "In the four years that our franchise has been in Indianapolis, we have prided ourselves in trying to reach out to the youth in our community. 4-H is a leader in the development of youth programs, and we are happy to be a part of 4-H activities."

Tickets will be sold at a reduced price for 4-H groups – $21 tickets will cost $18, $18 tickets will cost $13 and $12 tickets will cost $9. Ticket order forms will available at county Purdue Extension offices.

The Indiana Fever will play the Seattle Storm at 7 p.m. at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. At 5 p.m., ticketholders can participate in an on-court basketball clinic offered by the Fever coaching staff and a player.

Pepsi Square, an exclusive area on the Balcony Level of Conseco Fieldhouse, also will be available from 5:30-7 p.m. for 4-H members to play games and meet other members from Indiana.

For more information and to reserve a ticket, members should contact their county Purdue Extension office.
