April 7, 2003 Computers stolen from Purdue Student Government officeWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. Computer equipment valued at approximately $6,000 was stolen sometime Saturday (4/5) from the Purdue Student Government office, located in Stewart Center, Room G6. Ron Fosnaugh, captain of special services at the Purdue University Police Department, said the PSG office door was forced open. Four Dell computers and 17-inch flat screen monitors, along with keyboards, were taken in the burglary. According to a police report, the office door was known to be locked at 1:30 a.m. Saturday. Shortly after 7 a.m. two building service employees found the door partially open and the computers missing, Fosnaugh said. One of the building service employees told police they saw a man leave the area where the burglary occurred. The person was described as a white male of slim build, 19 to 20 years old with brownish, ear-length hair.
