Purdue Homecoming King and Queen Contest to change

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – To inform the Purdue student body of changes in the Homecoming King and Queen Contest, students are invited to a callout at 6 p.m. Monday (4/7) in Stewart Hall, Room 314.

The Purdue Student Union Board says all students are welcome to compete for a spot on the Homecoming Court, which is composed of eight men and eight women. The court also will participate in more on- and off-campus activities in order to represent the university throughout the year.

A panel composed of students, staff and alumni will select the court based on resumes and essays on "What It Means to be Boilermaker." The panel will then select the king and queen based upon interviews and student votes on SSINFO.

The 2004 Homecoming will take place Saturday, Oct. 4.
