Date: March 3, 2003 Amelia Earhart exhibit opens March 10 Photographs, video and audio are available for journalists covering the Amelia Earhart exhibit, Flight Trails, which will feature some of Earhart's most personal items, including love letters, fan mail and her last telegram. The public will be able to view the exhibit on March 10 at Purdue University's West Lafayette campus. The exhibit kicks off with a 4 p.m. lecture in Fowler Hall by Sally Putnam Chapman, an Earhart biographer and granddaughter of Earhart's husband, George Palmer Putnam. After the lecture Chapman will lead attendees to view the exhibit, which will be housed in Stewart Center Gallery. Interviews with Chapman can be scheduled from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on March 10, and must be arranged by contacting Amy Patterson-Neubert, at (765) 494-9723, apatterson@purdue.edu.
