February 12, 2003 Projector stolen from Purdue classroomWEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. A video projector, valued at more than $7,000, was reported stolen from a classroom in Purdue University's Heavilon Hall. Ron Fosnaugh, Purdue captain of special services, said the projector was reported missing Monday (2/10) and that the theft occurred sometime after 5 p.m. Friday (2/7). The Infocus projector was secured to the ceiling of Heavilon Hall, Room G01, with brackets and a security cable. Fosnaugh said police were uncertain how the thief got into the classroom.
