President Jischke to discuss athletics on next radio show

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke will discuss intercollegiate and recreational athletics, including the Boilermakers' recent Sun Bowl appearance, during his live call-in radio show from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday (1/8).

Listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions during the show. Local listeners can call (765) 496-1999. Listeners outside the local calling area can call toll-free at (866) 922-2101.

"Purdue has a strong tradition in both intercollegiate and recreational athletics," said WBAA manager Dan Skinner. "What Purdue is doing to advance its already top-caliber athletic programming should be of interest to the audience who, I hope, will be compelled to call in and ask questions directly of the president."

The station's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and may be heard globally via the station's Web site at https://www.wbaa.org. The site also provides toll-free dialing instructions for listeners outside the United States and Canada.
