Purdue nights shed light on animal science careers

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University's Department of Animal Sciences is on a mission to get the word out about careers in animal science by offering night seminars for students who are considering college.

The department, along with the Animal Science Student Ambassadors, is offering schools and 4-H clubs the chance to host an animal science career fair. Student ambassadors and Purdue faculty members will go to local communities free of charge to discuss how to prepare for college and a future career in animal science, explore available career opportunities and explain the benefits of studying in Purdue's Department of Animal Sciences.

Interested 4-H clubs and school groups should contact the department by Dec. 15.
