November 14, 2002 WBAA Town Forum to focus on state issues WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Indiana's fiscal situation, education funding and job creation in Tippecanoe County will be the focus of discussion when WBAA resumes its broadcasting of the "WBAA Town Forum" at 7 p.m. Wednesday (11/20). The show will be broadcast live from the Morton Community Center, 222 N. Chauncey Ave., in West Lafayette. Panelists include state representatives Sue Scholer, Sheila Klinker and Ron Alting. Tracie Hughes, WBAA director of development, says she hopes Greater Lafayette residents will set aside time for dialogue about the state's future and how upcoming legislation will affect them. "This is a great chance to talk one-on-one with our local state representatives and learn more about their ideas as we approach the next legislative session," Hughes says. "The Town Forum will allow voters to explore issues identified in the campaign in more depth." The public can come to the Morton Community Center to be part of the show's audience and ask questions.
