November 13, 2002 Memorial fund established for former School of Agriculture dean WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Former dean of the Purdue University School of Agriculture Bernard J. "Bernie" Liska died Saturday, Nov. 9, in Houston. Liska was dean of the school from 1980 to 1985. Plans for a memorial service are still pending. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the B.J. Liska Memorial Fund to provide support for graduate programs in Purdue's Department of Food Science. Checks should be made payable to the Purdue Foundation.
