Purdue president to discuss building projects on next radio show

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue University President Martin C. Jischke will update listeners on the status of campus building projects during his live call-in radio show from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday (11/6) on WBAA's "AM920 Magazine."

Listeners will have the opportunity to ask questions during the show. Local listeners can call (765) 496-1999. Listeners outside the local calling area can call toll-free at (866) 922-2101.

WBAA manager Dan Skinner said he hopes for strong community response and involvement during the show.

"We have had many exciting announcements about major building projects and donor gifts this year," he said. "It will be interesting to find out how projects, such as the Ross-Ade Stadium renovation, Discovery Park, the Dick and Sandy Dauch Alumni Center and the Visual and Performing Arts Building, are coming along. This also is an opportunity for listeners to talk with the president directly about any area of concern regarding Purdue."

The station's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and may be heard globally via the station's Web site. The site also provides toll-free dialing instructions for listeners outside the United States and Canada.
