Beginning Monday, Nov. 11, the Visitor Information Center, 504 Northwestern Ave., will transform its conference room into a photographic studio featuring Boilermaker props in front of a black background trimmed in gold. The props include the mini Boilermaker Special, a Christmas tree trimmed with footballs and a stand-up of football coach Joe Tiller. Purdue University appears in gold script at the top of the backdrop.

Anyone with a camera can make an appointment for a free, half-hour session. Family pets also are welcome. A tripod will be available.

Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling (765) 494-4636. Appointment times are available from Monday, Nov. 11, through Saturday, Dec. 14. Weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving break.

Nearly 90 families took their holiday photos at the Visitor Information Center last year.
