EVENTS

• Tuesday, Sept. 10. 7:30 p.m. Sept. 11 Reflection and Remembrance Program. Fowler Hall, Stewart Center. Students will present dance, songs and readings. Immediately following the program, participants are encouraged to meet outside of Fowler Hall to express thoughts, draw pictures or write poems on large display boards. • Wednesday, Sept. 11. 8-8:15 a.m. ROTC remembrance ceremony at the Purdue Armory.

• Wednesday, Sept. 11. 6:45 p.m. Moment of silence at places of residence. At 7 p.m., the campus community will walk with lit candles from places of residences – residence halls, fraternity and sorority houses, co-op houses and off-campus apartments – to Slayter Hill. Religious leaders, selected students, Purdue President Martin C. Jischke and West Lafayette Mayor Sonya Margerum will speak. • Saturday, Sept. 14. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. "Saturday on the Farm," Hancock County Farm Festival. The festival rotates annually around seven counties: Shelby, Johnson, Morgan, Hendricks, Boone, Hamilton and Hancock. The six sites on this year's tour are the Apple Family Farm, Brandywine Stables, Kingen's Round Barn, Phares Farm, Sunnyside Greenhouses and Tuttle Orchards.

** • Saturday, Sept. 28. 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Homecoming Celebration. A barbecue lunch, live entertainment and recreational activities will take place at the Purdue Mall and Purdue Memorial Mall. ** • Saturday, Sept. 28. 3:30 p.m. Homecoming Parade. A parade procession will be led by the Purdue "All-American" Marching Band to the Purdue versus Minnesota Homecoming game, which kicks off at 5 p.m. The parade route begins at the intersection of Tower Drive and Russell Street. It will then go down Russell to First Street, turn right and continue to MacArthur Drive. After taking a right on MacArthur Drive, the parade will make its way to Third Street, where it will take a right and continue to Intramural Drive. • Thursday, Sept. 19, through Sunday, Sept. 29. "Little Shop of Horrors." Experimental Theatre, Stewart Center. This comical play features Seymour and his new plant, which has a taste for blood. Call (765) 494-3933 for show times and prices.

• Sunday, Sept. 29. 2:30 p.m. The Purdue Symphonic Band fall concert. Long Center, 111 N. 6th St., Lafayette.

• Monday, Sept. 9. 1:30 p.m. "Unlocking the Clubhouse." Stewart Center, Room 214. Allen Fisher, president and CEO of Carnegie Technology Education, a Carnegie Mellon company, will talk about familial, educational and institutional origins of the computing gender gap.

** • Friday, Sept. 13. 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Krannert Executive Forum. Krannert Auditorium, Krannert Building. Mike Needham, global account manager, Hewlett-Packard Co., Dearborn, Mich. "So, Who Doesn't Think They're in Sales?"

** • Friday, Oct. 4. 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. Krannert Executive Forum. Krannert Auditorium, Krannert Building. Barbara Branic, regional president, Greater Indianapolis Union Planters Bank, Indianapolis. "What's on Your Billboard?"
