Purdue students receive prestigious Knoy Scholarships

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Five Purdue University students have received Maurice G. Knoy Scholarships from the School of Technology.

The students are:

• Erika L. Hufford, an organizational leadership and supervision graduate from Versailles, Ohio.

• Paul Wasilewski, a senior in aviation technology from McHenry, Ill.

• Kimberly L. Ricks, a senior in organizational leadership and supervision from Russiaville, Ind.

• Jesse A. Janowiak, a senior in computer graphics technology from Lafayette, Ind.

• Andrea Shemel, a computer technology graduate from Coldwater, Mich.

The Knoy Scholarship was established to honor Maurice G. Knoy, president of Purdue's Board of Trustees from 1968-80. Knoy's family and friends established an endowment fund to support the awards, which are based on financial need, scholarship and leadership.
