May 31, 2002 Faculty and staff honors: – Rita J. Baker, undergraduate studies program adviser, has been selected as an Outstanding Advising Award winner. Baker was honored in the Academic Advising-Primary Role category as part of the 2002 National Academic Advising Association's National Awards Program. The award is presented to individuals for achievement in providing academic advice to students. Baker will be presented with her award in October during the association's annual national conference in Salt Lake City. Baker holds a bachelor's and master's degree from Purdue.
