Highlights from the National Rube Goldberg Machine Contest will be available Saturday (4/6) via satellite between 4:30 p.m. and 4:45 p.m. EST.

The contest honors the late cartoonist Rube Goldberg, who specialized in drawing whimsical, complicated machines to perform very simple tasks. This year students are challenged to create machines that will raise the American flag in 20 steps or more.
