President Jischke cancels WBAA interview

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue President Martin C. Jischke has canceled his scheduled broadcast over WBAA Radio for Wednesday (3/6) after having been called to Indianapolis to help represent the Alliance for Indiana's future at a legislative meeting concerning the state budget.

Jischke had been scheduled to talk about research funding from 2-3 p.m. during his monthly live call-in radio show on WBAA's "AM920 Magazine." In place of the live interview, WBAA manager Dan Skinner said he will air a pre-recorded interview.

The station's AM signal reaches approximately two-thirds of Indiana and may be heard globally via the station's Web site.
