Indiana Collegiate Job Fair set for March 1

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – College seniors, graduates or students looking for full-time and internship positions can attend the 12th annual Indiana Collegiate Job Fair on Friday, March 1, in Indianapolis.

The event, co-sponsored by Purdue and Indiana universities, will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Indiana Convention Center. Recruiters in the fields of sales, government, sciences, management and computer science will be available to meet with job candidates.

Job seekers also will have an opportunity to have their resumes scanned and placed in an online database that will be made available to employers after the fair.

Jim Megathlin, assistant director of Purdue's Center for Career Opportunities, says attendees should arrive in professional dress and be prepared to interview.

The Indiana Collegiate Job Fair is open to seniors, graduate students and alumni from any university. The registration fee is $10 and will be accepted at the door.

Additional information and a complete list of participating companies is available on the Web at https://www.iupui.edu/~jobfairs/icjf_cand.html.
