Agriculture alumni honored at Purdue Fish FryNOTE TO JOURNALISTS: Photos of the honorees are available by contacting Tom Campbell, Agricultural Communications Service, at (765) 494-8084.WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue University Agricultural Alumni Association presented its highest award, the Certificate of Distinction, to four outstanding alumni. The awards were presented at the association’s annual Fish Fry on Saturday, Feb. 2. Certificates were presented to Lloyd F. Grove of Lafayette, Ind., William W. McFee and Rex J. Warner both of West Lafayette, Ind., and Don B. Villwock of Edwardsport, Ind. The award, instituted in 1938, is presented to those who have distinguished themselves in their professions and in their communities with significant contributions that have enhanced the agricultural profession. Purdue President Martin C. Jischke also presented the university’s highest award, the Order of the Griffin, to Don Paarlberg of West Lafayette, Ind., a retired professor of agricultural economics.
