Purdue students to enjoy indoor fun at Winterfest

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – Purdue students who live in residence halls are invited to Winterfest, which will be from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Purdue Memorial Union.

Free bowling and billiards will be offered, along with dance music by Lafayette radio station B-102.9. "Improv" comedy performances by the Crazy Monkeys also will take place at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Free tickets for the performances are available at the front desk of each residence hall.

The Purdue Student Union Board will show the movie "Jay and Silent Bob" at 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Admission will be $1.50 with a dollar off coupon provided by residence hall staff.

Residence hall students will be asked to show their Purdue identification card to be admitted to some of the activities. Winterfest, an alcohol free event, is sponsored by the Residence Hall Council.
