Faculty and staff honors

After nearly 34 years with WBAA radio at Purdue, Caryl Matthews will retire today (Friday, 1/4). A public reception will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday (1/10) at the WBAA studios in the Elliott Hall of Music. Known as the "voice of classical music" on WBAA-FM, Matthews came to the station in 1968 as the record librarian and traffic manager.
