Anand Raghunathan, the Silicon Valley Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named a fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery. ACM’s most prestigious member grade recognizes the top 1% of members for their outstanding accomplishments in computing and information technology.

At the recommendation of President Mung Chiang, the Purdue Board of Trustees approved the addition of a four-day 2024 winter recess on Dec. 26-27 and Dec. 30-31 for faculty and staff on the West Lafayette, Fort Wayne and Northwest campuses. The university will be officially closed Dec. 23, 2024, through Jan. 1, 2025.
