New Purdue master plan endorsed by Board; sets stage for next 50 years

Purdue University Physical Facilities unveiled the new West Lafayette campus master plan today (Oct. 12) following the plan’s endorsement by the Purdue Board of Trustees. The Giant Leaps Master Plan builds on Purdue’s 150-year history and looks to the future to imagine how the campus’s physical space will set the stage for the next 50 years of giant leaps.

Trustees OK 2019 health plan design, rates

Purdue Trustees today (Oct. 12) approved the University’s 2019 medical plans, working to balance efforts to provide high-quality benefits with the rapidly increasing cost of medical care that has risen 28 percent (or $30 million) over the past five years.

Trustees vote to award Daniels’ at-risk pay

The Purdue Board of Trustees today (Oct. 12) reviewed the 2017-18 performance evaluation for President Mitch Daniels and voted to approve his at-risk pay at 100 percent based on measures set out by trustees in December 2017.

Purdue trustees ratify eight named faculty, two named spaces

The Purdue University Board of Trustees today (Oct. 12) ratified eight named faculty positions and the recent appointments of the University’s executive vice president for communication and vice president for human resources. Trustees also issued a resolution of appreciation for friends of the University, including two whose names will be added to campus facilities.

Board approves new online degree program; updates regional campus diplomas; moves residence hall project forward

The Purdue University Board of Trustees today (October 12) approved the creation of a new online graduate degree program on the West Lafayette campus, the renaming of an undergraduate degree program on the IUPUI campus and the alumni center on the Purdue Fort Wayne campus, new verbiage for regional campus diplomas, and the plans for two new residence halls on the West Lafayette campus.

Painter signs contract extension through 2023-24

Purdue University and men's basketball head coach Matt Painter have agreed on a two-year contract extension through the 2023-24 season. In addition, effective July 1, 2019, Painter's contract will convert to a rolling five-year term via automatic one-year extensions that could extend the agreement beyond 2023-24.
