Trustees ratify faculty promotions, approve resolutions

The Purdue Board of Trustees today (Oct. 14) confirmed three named professorships and a distinguished professorship. The board also elected Trent Klingerman to the position of assistant legal counsel, serving both the trustees and the University.

Purdue trustees approve metrics-based compensation for Daniels

Continued strides in affordability, student success, fundraising and institutional reputation led Purdue trustees today (Oct. 14) to provide President Mitch Daniels with 96 percent of a pool of $210,000 in at-risk funds based on a metrics-based review of the University's performance over the past year.

Purdue trustees OK renovation, Ross-Ade lighting

Purdue trustees today (Oct. 14) approved moving forward on projects to renovate portions of the Hall for Discovery and Learning Research (DLR) and to install permanent field lighting at Ross-Ade Stadium to allow for night football games.

Trustees honor Boilermaker Olympic medalists

Purdue's Board of Trustees today (Oct. 14) approved resolutions honoring Boilermakers who earned medals representing the United States in the recent Rio Summer Olympics. The resolutions honored rowing team member Amanda Elmore, divers David Boudia and Steele Johnson, and diving coach Adam Soldati.
