Trustees endorse new degree program for statewide Purdue Polytechnic sites, OK oversight change in programs at IUPUI

Purdue's Board of Trustees today (April 8) endorsed a new Purdue Polytechnic Institute bachelor's degree to be offered at its statewide locations that would allow industry partners to aid in customizing degree options to better suit the educational needs of their employees. Trustees also approved administratively housing three Indiana University degree programs in Purdue schools on the Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis campus.

Faculty promotions at Purdue gain board's approval

The Board of Trustees today (April 8) approved faculty promotions. The promotions are effective with the 2016-17 academic year.

Trustees ratify professorships, approve resolution

The Board of Trustees today (April 8) approved two named professorships, renamed a third professorship and passed a resolution of appreciation for donors.

Purdue trustees honor North Central Chancellor James B. Dworkin

James B. Dworkin, a longtime member of the Purdue community and chancellor of the North Central campus for more than 16 years, was honored today (April 8) by the University's Board of Trustees.
