Trustees ratify distinguished professorship, approve degree conversion

The Purdue Board of Trustees today (Feb. 12) ratified a distinguished professorship and approved converting the bachelor of arts degree to a bachelor of fine arts degree in the Department of Art and Design. Trustees also voted to restructure the Department of Engineering at Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne by establishing two departments — the Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Purdue trustees lay groundwork for State Street corridor, OK campus projects

The Board of Trustees today (Feb. 12) approved preparatory actions to lay the foundation for a joint project with the city of West Lafayette to reimagine and reinvigorate the State Street corridor, which runs through the heart of campus.
