General Stores stocks around 4657 individual items in a variety of categories ranging from cleaning products to lumber; copy paper to research chemicals and many products in between.

Postal Stores was consolidated into our operation allowing customers to procure necessary items and stamps in a variety of denominations through a single General Stores catalog.

General Stores is also home to the University's Compressed Gas Cylinder (Demurrage) Operation. University customers can directly order one of several industrial gases stocked at MMDC and have the cylinder safely delivered to their facility. Empty cylinders are picked up weekly and returned to the proper vendor. We provide valuable tracking information for all cylinders routed through our facility, including specialty gas cylinders.
