Alumni interaction before football games and President’s Council
events
PFSB members experience amazing networking opportunities
with Purdue alumni, distinguished faculty, and gracious
donors. They get to eat delicious food while chatting
with the best of Purdue’s alumni. They might
even get to hear the Varsity Glee Club or the Purduettes
perform, see a scene from one of the student plays,
or hear Purdue donors speak about the impact Purdue
had and continues to have on them today.
Philanthropy and service opportunities on campus and beyond
There are many opportunities to do philanthropy on
the Purdue campus and in communities throughout the
state. PFSB partners with other organizations on an
array of philanthropic projects.
Etiquette training
Upon being selected for membership in PFSB, all members attend an etiquette party.
The party is a unique learning experience for acquiring proper manners for
interaction. The event provides PFSB members a chance to understand what is
truly socially acceptable when interacting with people in various situations.
Traveling across the state and beyond to speak about Purdue
Members of PFSB have the opportunity to travel with
the University Development Office across the state
and country to speak to alumni about Purdue and its
impact on the students of today. These students get
to bridge the gap and tie together traditions held
dear by alumni and students alike. They also get to
boast about the improvements the University is making
and the impact these changes are having now.
