Favorite PFSB Moment: My favorite PFSB memory was during Discover Purdue Week in fall 2002 when I helped out at the press conference to introduce the gift of $116 million from General Motors Corp., Sun Microsystems, and EDS. When I went to the press conference, I thought it was just going to be a little job, like helping people to their seats. But, after a few minutes, I was asked if I could help hold this giant cardboard CD on stage for all the donors and President Jischke to sign during the conference. They ended up saying our names when we went out there, and it was a great experience. I also thought it was neat when I watched the news that night and during some of the Purdue basketball game's halftime commercials. I was there holding a big CD on stage. This was definitely an experience that I would not have been able to take part in without my involvement in PFSB.
Why do you like being part of PFSB?: I like being involved with PFSB because it gives me a chance to meet and work with alumni and fellow students. I have met people from all over Indiana and the United States. It is interesting finding out about their connection to Purdue. I also enjoy being involved with The Campaign for Purdue by helping the University promote it to fellow students and alumni

Major: Professional Writing and Public Relations
Future Goals: I would love to do writing and communications for a major corporation. Ideally, I would like to write cards for a greeting-card company! Whatever I am doing, I want to be happy, as that is what gives me the passion to succeed.
Interests: I love to play outside: running, soccer, swimming, going to the lake. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Shopping and traveling are also a must!
Fun Fact: I'm the youngest of seven children ÷ the fifth to go to Purdue. And, I LOVE to chew bubble gum.
Favorite PFSB Moment: I've had many amazing moments with PFSB. This past year, the best was traveling to San Francisco to speak to alumni about what Purdue means to me. I met some of the most amazing people there, including a Purdue graduate who worked for Hewlett-Packard for more than 30 years and who loves to come back to Purdue even today as a visiting professor. It is so encouraging to see the success of Purdue alumni and the spirit they still have for the University today.
Why I love Purdue: I have had the opportunity to get involved in the best activities at Purdue University , and I have met wonderful people while doing so. I have made the most of each and every experience I have had and try to appreciate all aspects of college life. And, I must say that I am obsessed with Purdue football. Nothing beats a Saturday morning football game. Boiler up!

Favorite PFSB Moment: I would have to say my favorite PFSB moment would have to be when several of us traveled to Indianapolis to work the Boilermaker Blockbuster. Between the men's and women's basketball games there was a lunch buffet, and I was checking people into the buffet when Larry Bird made his way by and back up to his box seat. I never realized how tall he really is.
Why do you like being part of PFSB?: I enjoy being a part of PFSB, not only because of the other students I get to interact with, but also the alumni. Through this organization, I have met so many amazing alumni and have built many great relationships with them as well. Additionally, I receive such an amazing feeling when I know that I played a part in that alum's decision to donate money back to Purdue University .

Fun Fact: More than 30 of my family members have attended or are attending Purdue (with my younger sister, Abbey, to attend next fall!)
Favorite PFSB Moment: My favorite PFSB memory was helping host a reunion tour of campus for a group of Hong Kong alumni with Mike and Karen Stitsworth. It was amazing to see their passion for Purdue in the form of their Purdue attire and sharing of fond memories from their days on campus--even after many years away from the University! It was an honor for me to spend my day with such accomplished, enthusiastic, and fun individuals, and an eye-opening experience for a glimpse into the extension of the Purdue family around the world.
Why I love Purdue: I love Purdue because there is always so much going on. While I have been involved with Purdue United Way, the Old Masters Program, PFSB, the Interns for Indiana Program, and studying in Krannert and Rawls, there are thousands of other students getting involved in other organizations, numerous amounts of research and discoveries occurring, and a constant growth and expansion of physical buildings and knowledge, all taking place at any one time. The pride, the people, the growth--I'm so glad to be a Boilermaker because it truly is happening here!
