President's Council is a unique group of alumni and
friends who contribute generously to the future of
Purdue University. Because of their spirit and generosity,
no Purdue president has had to stand alone. By working
closely with the president, these leaders volunteer
to support the University in ways that are very personal
and meaningful to them. Through special events and
programs, members build strong and lasting relationships
with each other — relationships that enhance
their experiences and change their lives.
Whether funding student scholarships, awards to attract
and recognize distinguished professors, or capital
building projects, the common goal of members is to
empower Purdue's family to be the very best. President's
Council members embrace and embody preeminence.
In addition to contributing to the future of Purdue,
members gain a strong sense of pride in their generosity
and develop friendships that last a lifetime. Donor
courtesies include:
- Invitations to President's Council special events,
such as football game-day celebrations and regional
gatherings
- Opportunities to interact with the President
- Leadership Magazine, which details information
important to members
- Invitations to President's Council trips
- Interaction with deans, faculty, staff, and students
- Direct access to Purdue information through President's
Council staff members
