The President's Council was established in 1972 to recognize the distinguished
alumni and friends who understand that the University can fulfill its
educational goals only with their loyal support and financial involvement.
These individuals have paved the way for the future and continue to support
the excellent education afforded Purdue students.
For more than 30 years, the Council's membership
has been instrumental in Purdue's progress and success
by giving to a multitude of University programs. The Council
currently includes more than 16,000 loyal Purdue
alumni and friends.The goals of the President's Council are to:
- Provide an increasing pattern of generous giving to
the University to support and enhance quality in all
its academic endeavors;
- Develop the active participation of
alumni and friends to serve the institution through
close association with the president and University community;
- Recognize those whose generosity serves the welfare
and advancement of Purdue; and
- Educate all constituents
on the importance of philanthropy at Purdue.
Thank you to all Council members for maintaining these
special goals!
