Student
Leaders
Leadership at the student level is highly valued
by Purdue University, which recognizes the impact
students can have on campus and in the surrounding
community. Listed below are some of the ways students
can make a difference.
• Purdue
Foundation Student Board (PFSB) —
Students selected to be members of the Purdue Foundation
Student Board (PFSB) gain the opportunity to share
their Purdue pride and spirit of service with the
University's alumni, friends, and development staff.
PFSB activities offer ways to interact with alumni,
participate in philanthropic projects, and make new
friends.
• Telefund
— Purdue's Telefund program annually raises
more than $2 million for the University, employs between
100 and 130 students, and houses 46 automated calling
stations. Each year, students at Purdue's Telefund
Center call more than 110,000 alumni, friends, and
parents to raise money to benefit Purdue students.
