Minority
Programs
Campaign Goal: $250,000
A diverse student body is essential to providing an enriched learning
environment that fosters inter-group cooperation, nonlinear thinking,
and social responsibility. The School of Pharmacy needs to provide
financial assistance and support for minority programs so that our
graduates will excel professionally and personally and embody the
University’s commitment to educating tomorrow’s leaders.
The school’s minority programs include student scholarships,
the dean’s employment program, academic support services, orientation
and transition programs, an annual awards luncheon, and professional
development experiences. Through your support of these diversity initiatives,
we can prepare all students to live, learn, and work in a multicultural
world.
