Aaron Slagel (BS '85), a chemical engineer, and his wife, MarLen (BA '85), an elementary teacher, fell in love at Purdue. No doubt, this is one of the reasons they think fondly of the University and have supported it every year since 1992—but it's not the only reason.

"Purdue provided me with such an economical high quality education that it only seems right for me give something back," Aaron says. "When I was a senior at Purdue, I remember making phone calls to alumni to raise funds for the chemical engineering laboratory. It was then I realized the importance of alumni support."
Aaron and MarLen Slagel recently increased their annual giving in response to The Campaign for Purdue.
