It is a loyalty club that recognizes Purdue alumni and friends who have show their dedication and commitment by giving to Purdue every year.

WHO EARNS DISTINGUISHED MEMBERSHIP IN THE GRIFFIN SOCIETY?

Only Alumni and friends who have made annual gifts to Purdue for at least the last three years or recent graduates who have given each year since graduation.

HOW MANY ALUMNI AND FRIENDS ARE MEMBERS OF THE GRIFFIN SOCIETY?

More than 20,000 Purdue alumni and friends across the country and around the world claim Griffin Society status.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO MAKE A GIFT CONSISTENTLY EVERY YEAR?

Annual donors are at the heart of Purdue University, providing the kind of philanthropy that enables Purdue to reach its goal and continue striving for improvement. Gifts from alumni and friends to Purdue help the University meet current needs not covered by tuition and state funding. Every gift counts.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF GRIFFIN SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP?

The pride of knowing you have loyally supported Purdue University every year is the foremost benefit. Members of the Griffin Society comprise an extraordinary portion of Purdue alumni and friends—fewer than 10 percent can make this claim.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN MY MEMBERSHIP?

To remain a member, your annual gift must be received within the calendar year. You may support any University program in any amount. It's important not to let a year pass by, because once membership lapses it takes three years of giving to regain membership in the Griffin Society.

WILL I RECEIVE ANY SPECIAL NOTICES TO BE SURE I DON'T MISS A YEAR?

If you have not made a gift to Purdue during the calendar year, the year-end mailing will contain a reminder.

IS THERE A SIMPLE WAY TO CONTRIBUTE?

Making a gift electronically is quick, easy, and safe. Gifts by credit card or electronic check can be made online at www.purdue.edu/gifts. Of course, you can always write a check.
