Total Exceeds $200,000 Goal!
Even with our leadership gift of
$100,000 from the Krach Family Foundation, many were
skeptical that a 25th anniversary class could achieve
the lofty goal for the Class of 1979 High Ropes Challenge
Course. But the great class of 1979 has rallied to
the call, and we met and exceeded our goal of $200,000!
The
high ropes course was installed in the summer of 2005 and was dedicated during Celebration Week in October 2005.
High
ropes courses are the ultimate tool for leadership
training and team building skills. This facility
expands Purdue's
leadership curriculum and will provide an exhilarating experience
to many students for years to come. This is a proud legacy
for the Class of 1979.
Many thanks to those who have made a gift
to this great class project. If you haven't yet made
a gift, please respond generously and join your classmates
in support of your class project.
The Division of Recreational Sports is responsible for day-to-day operations of the high
ropes course. (For a map of the high ropes course location, Click Here).
