Fiscal year gift activity, which includes new pledge commitments and gift income
(net of prior year pledge payments), reached nearly $212 million, surpassing
the $175 million fiscal year goal. This is the fifth year in a row, and fifth
time in Purdue history, that gift activity was more than $200 million. Annual
fundraising goals have been exceeded in each of The Campaign for Purdue’s
six years.
Fiscal year gift income, defined as assets received by the University (excludes
new pledge commitments), was $151 million, with the cash and securities portion
surpassing $105 million. This is the third time in Purdue history, and the third
year in a row, that cash gifts have surpassed $100 million, and the total is
23 percent ahead of the 10-year average of $85 million.
