| Private giving helps
assure Purdue University's excellence in higher education. Established in 1972,
the University Development Office (UDO) plans, coordinates, and implements fundraising
programs with Purdue students, alumni, parents, friends, corporations, and foundations.
Private gifts allow the University to fund programs, scholarships, fellowships,
professorships, research, campus renovations, and new facilities.
When you give to Purdue, you further the cause of higher education, an element
that is vital to our nation's future. You join a group of individuals who truly
enjoy being part of Purdue's family of supporters. Depending on the amount
or designation of your gift, you can earn membership in special recognition
clubs and other types of donor organizations.
Our Mission
The University Development Office's mission is to continuously enhance the
measure of private giving to Purdue University in support of Purdue's teaching,
research, and service functions, and to develop and maintain positive relationships
throughout the institution's broad range of constituencies.
