Why should I give?
You may be thinking, "I just paid for an entire college education. Why should I give more?" The reasons are many:

- Current Boilers and alumni have provided gifts of talent, time, and financial resources to benefit you and the University.
- Less than half of Purdue's budget comes from state and federal funding and tuition. Gifts from Boilers like you keep Purdue running.
- Your generosity will be recognized with membership in the Griffin Society. Purdue's loyalty recognition club recognizes Boilers who give year after year regardless of the amount of their gift.
- Many of the amenities at Purdue are available because Boilers who came before you cared enough to give back and make a difference: library resources, technology, green space, even your friends, who may be here because of a scholarship funded by alumni.
