Purdue University Transportation Service strives to meet the unique transportation needs of faculty, staff and students. Transportation is committed to stewardship, sustainability, safety, and customer service with a focus on taking you where you want to go.

IMPORTANT UPDATES:

8 VAN REMOVAL: Please note that we are removing 8vans from our fleet and consolidating into all 12 person vans.  If you are in need of a large van, please request a 12van.

  • If you need cargo space, please be sure to request that we remove the back row of the van for storage room.
  • Please keep in mind Risk Management's policy that only 8 people are permitted in the van at a time, if it will be leaving campus.  (Campus travel you may have a max of 12 people in the van)

GL CONSOLIDATION: Per the changes by accounting the GLs that were used in the office before are changing.  Please be sure to look at the list provided by Accounting to ensure you are using active GLs. 

  • Deleted travel GLs: 535010, 535110, 535120

NEW PROCEDURAL CHANGES COMING MAY 2017: Beginning May 6, 2017, we will be launching our after-hours kiosk.  With the implementation of the kiosk, this will allow all customers to come to retreive their keys outside of business hours.  Due to this ALL reservations will be starting charges at the time the keys are picked up.  Please contact us with questions regarding this implementation.

    • Precedural Change Details:
      • With the implementation of the Kiosk, customers are able to retrieve their keys outside of normal business hours.  Due to this, charges will start at the time of actual key pick up
      • Please drop vehicle off with a full tank of gas
      • Please remove all trash & personal items out of vehicle- these vehicles will start having back to back reservations
      • With back to back reservations, it is very important that the vehicles are returned at the time specified on the reservation- not doing this could cause a fellow customer to not get a vehicle
      • Unless otherwise told/noted: Please use the Kiosk that is located on the front of the building to return a vehicle
      • Information needed for the kiosk:
        • Correct Username- please call or email Transportation@purdue.edu with your current Purdue Career Account Username
        • Mileage will be required to check in the vehicle
        • The person that the reservation is under, will have to be the person that picks up/drops off from the Kiosk
