The Office of Trademarks and Licensing controls, protects, maintains and promotes the various logos, symbols and phrases that represent Purdue University. Licensed products maintain the integrity of the Purdue brand and benefit the University in many ways, including Purdue's general and athletic scholarship funds. Campus Licensee Fair, Thursday May 5. 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Purdue's Stewart Center Room 214
Geared toward campus departments, units, and advisors to student organizations, the event will showcase licensees of Purdue's branded products and educate the campus community about the importance of using licensed vendors. Vendors will offer sample items, giveaways and coupons for special promotions, but no orders or sales will be made during the event. Purdue licensees looking to attend the event can register here. Purdue employees representing their offices and organization will be admitted for free.
Ryan Kerrigan/12th Boiler Golf Outing, Friday May 6, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Purdue's Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex
Special pricing for the golf outing is available for attendees who participate in both the licensee fair and golf outing ... proceeds support scholarships and Ryan Kerrigan's Blitz For The Better Foundation. Kerrigan, an All-Pro linebacker with the NFL's Washington Redskins, will play in the scramble event. Lunch will be provided on the course and a reception/dinner will follow at the Voinoff Pavilion immediately after golf. Golf outing participation includes either playing as part of a foursome, sponsoring a hole or donating products for prizes and/or gift bags. Since the golf outing is a charity event and runs through a 501 c-3 foundation. It is tax-deductible. Registration for the event is available here.
