Coroner's office investigates Purdue student death

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — In conjunction with the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office, the Purdue University Police Department is conducting an investigation into the death of a student.
At 10:27 p.m. Tuesday (Jan. 10) the Purdue University Police Department received a call of a male who reportedly had “passed out” on the first floor of Hillenbrand Hall, 1301 Third St. When first responders arrived, the individual was determined to be deceased. The individual has been preliminarily identified by the Tippecanoe County Coroner’s office.
The cause and manner of death is the subject of a pending Tippecanoe County Coroner’s Office investigation, and all questions should be directed to that office.
