May is National Skin Cancer Detection & Prevention Month. Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States. When used consistently, sunscreen can prevent skin cancer. Although anyone can develop skin cancer, some people are at an increased risk.

Heather Shreve has served as our student clerical assistant since 2006. Heather assumed increasing responsibilities over her 2 years with us and has been an exceptional student employee. We wish Heather well as she continues her studies at Purdue and assists her family's business.
Katie Wiesner leaves her position as Coordinator for the Indiana Campus Sexual Assault Prevention Project. In a short time, Katie has moved the project to a higher level of operation and achievement. Katie will marry Ryan Ourada this summer in Wisconsin and has accepted a position at her alma mater, St. Norbert College, as a visiting instructor. Best wishes to Katie!
For the last two years, Aida Ramirez has served as the project coordinator for Positive Educational Experiences for Purdue Students (PEEPS). The grant project will end in June, and Aida will be moving to another position on campus. Aida has made a significant contribution to the success of our PEEPS project, and we will miss her hard work and dedication. Best wishes to her as she continues her path to graduation!
