The Indiana Campus Sexual Assault Prevention Project (INCSAPP), established in July 1997, is the campus component of the Communities Against Rape (CARe) Initiative of Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service funded through the Indiana State Department of Health, CDC Rape Prevention Education Grant. In keeping with the Healthy People 2010 Health Status Objectives, the primary goal of INCSAPP is to reduce the incidence of sexual assault and attempted sexual assault on all private and public college and university campuses in the State of Indiana.
PEEPS (Positive Educational Experiences for Purdue Students) is a two-year grant project from the Department of Education. It is designed to reduce high-risk drinking among first-year students. The major PEEPS components involve: creating partnerships with campus and community partners, working with the academic units on campus, designing a media campaign, communicating with parents, increasing alcohol-free activities, and working with the University Residences intervention program.
