Fitness Project Team

The Fitness Project Team will develop and deliver materials to educate the public on the value of exercise and proper nutrition in combating obesity in both people and dogs. The team will coordinate with the Walks Across Indiana program in Tippecanoe County. The team leader is Dr. Sandra Amass, Professor of Veterinary Clinical Sciences and Associate Dean of Engagement, Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Team members include:

  • Dr. Karen Zotz, Assistant Dean for Engagement at the College of Consumer and Family Sciences, Assistant Director of Purdue Extension, and leader of Walks Across Indiana.

  • Ms. Jessica Schneider, Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine
