Purdue Zipcar Program

Community Energy

Don't want to bring your car to campus? Tired of the hassles and cost of gas and insurance? Check out the Purdue Zipcar sharing program.

Purdue launched this program in the fall of 2011 to offer faculty, staff and students a flexible alternative to bringing their own vehicles to campus. Instead, they can use the Zipcars. Not only does this give campus drivers access to vehicles when they need them, but they don't have to worry about gas and insurance. And the program also reduces the demand for university parking facilities, alleviates congestion, and reduces our carbon footprint.

There are currently six cars located in four pods across campus. See the map below for locations.

Access to these cars is by self-service, and 24 hours/day, every day.
